When we opened our doors to the public we were solely an In House – Sit Down Service for Coffee / Tea,  Hot & Cold Food, Café. Through the years with customer demand, we built up a steady clientele of customers who wanted the convenience of drinking beverages / eating light on “The Go”. Some people just want to have some of our award winning Coffee / Tea with a light snack and continue on their journey. Some others want Burgers or Sandwiches to go. Whether customers are heading North or South and only want light refreshment, stretch their legs or use the bathroom, they are all welcomed at An Eaglais.

We offer quite a range of food to go, Homemade Confectionery Squares, Muffins, Scones, Apple Pie / Sponge, (wonderful) Crème Brettle, Chocolate Snacks etc etc. We also offer burgers, French fried Potatoes, fish, Chicken, Sandwiches, Soft Drinks at very reasonable prices.

Our food is fresh and cooked to order. We want to be different than some roadside “service stations” that put their hot food into a Bain Marie at 6 in the morning and it still could be offered for sale at 9 O’clock that night. We offer freshly cooked food, fresh award winning Tea and Coffee to go “Barista Style”.

We are currently looking to extend our facilities, change and upgrade them to cater better and faster for customers who want to avail of our “To Go “services.

   Most of our Desserts and all of our Confectionery Squares are baked In House. We are very proud of the products we bake and you will not find these products anywhere else.

Very reasonably priced, we will even bake to order – just give us some notice and we will happily supply you with what you need. The staff in An Eaglais takes pride in what they do and are always keen to produce and bake something new and different.

We cater for everyone.

We at An Eaglais already serve Bus loads of people on their way North and South and we will even give reduced rates to Bus Companies / Trip Organizers who want to give an “All In Price” to their customers. Bus Drivers who stop in with us with potential customers will always get a complimentary beverage from us. Some customers ask their Driver to stop at An Eaglais as it gives them a chance to Browse for a few minutes and break their journey. Tour Operators love the fact that we also have loads of other things their customers like to see, Crafts, Small Gifts, Exhibitions, Audio Visual Room, Photo Opportunities for Holidaymakers etc. We are really Cosy. There is very easy access to our Car Park and great Free Parking. Very easy and safe Off and Back On the N2.
